Very Happy with my Sonicare January 9, 2009 G. Smith (Huntington Beach, CA USA) I really like the Sonicare Essence. It's less expensive than the other Sonicare models, yet does the job well. Who needs all the extra bells and whistles.
If you've never used a Sonicare brush before, it takes some getting used to. Especially when angling the brush so you don't hit your teeth with the plastic part of the brush handle. The vibration can really rattle you at first. But I got used to it after only a few days, and I love it now. I actually look forward to brushing now. The only thing I don't like about the brush is it turns off after two minutes, the recommended brush time. I find myself wanting to brush longer sometimes. I prefer Oral-B's method of rhythmic pulsing after two minutes. But it's no big deal because when the Sonicare turns off, you can just turn it back on.
Overall, I'm very happy with the Sonicare. I would buy one again when this one dies. I can't wait to see how my next dental checkup goes.
does the job January 9, 2009 Amy M. (Atascadero, CA) This toothbrush is invigorating to the gums! It also seems that when I floss after using it, I don't have as much food in the crevices as I used to with a regular toothbrush (I know, kinda gross). I'm really happy with it so far. The only bad thing is the replacement heads are about $25 and the instructions say to replace them every three months!
Very pleased January 8, 2009 R. Rentner I purchased this product for my wife, so I can only base my opinion on her comments. She takes very good care of her teeth, and has purchased several power toothbrushes over the years. She is constantly looking for high quality products. She says the Sonicare toothbrush is clearly the best she has ever used. She recommends it highly.
Believe the positive reviews January 8, 2009 Brandon E. Baker This is probably the simplest, most effective electric toothbrush on the market. How many buttons do you need your toothbrush to have, anyway? One is all you need, and it conveniently turns off after 2 minutes, guaranteeing a thorough brush each time. No need to worry about batteries and storage is super-easy.
I'll be keeping this brush for many years to come. Well worth the price.
Great Product, Great Price January 7, 2009 Rita Adams (Portland, OR USA) Couldn't pass up the great price on this original style handle that is compatible with the newer style slanted brush head. Now we each have our own Sonicare, the best toothbrush out there.
