Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Hohner Blues Band-10 Hole, Key of C only. The reeds of Diatonic Harmonicas produce the notes of the scale to which they are tuned. Hohner's diatonic harmonicas set the industry standard through their high quality construction, excellent response and unsurpassed tone. Often called ''Blues Harps'', they have been a fixture as melody and accompaniment instruments in blues, rock, country, and folk bands, as well as many other styles of music and musical ensembles.

5 out of 5 stars Excelent harp for few dollars   October 13, 2008

First of all, i am a new harp player. This is my second harp, my first was a very cheap china harp that was very hard to play. This harp sound very nice is easy to play and it cost almost nothing. I recomend 100%. It is a very good deal. I bought it from the instrument store, here in amazon.

2 out of 5 stars good for 5 dollars   September 27, 2008

plays good at first. easy to bend up to the 6 hole. 7-10 holes are hard to play consitantly.

3 out of 5 stars Decent for Beginners   September 6, 2008
R. Gutierrez (Sacramento, CA USA)
Not a bad harp for a beginner. I recently bought it (my first harmonica) and within a week blew out two reeds. Has good sound, just make sure not to continually blow or draw really hard on one hole.

4 out of 5 stars Good for the Price   May 11, 2008
Harper 20 (New England, USA)
I've been playing the harp for about 1 year, and this was my first. As a beginning harmonica, it is a wonderful instrument. It has a good sound (I haven't played any of the more expensive Hohner harps yet, so this is without comparison), and is plenty loud enough for me. I have had a few problems, which may just be my instrument. Drawing on 2,3, and 9 is difficult. Blowing on 10 is also slightly difficult. However, for the price, this is a wonderful buy.
