Great Game - If you do the tutorial January 4, 2003 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
This is a great game! Everyone says its really hard, but all you have to do is watch the tutorial. The tutorial shows you how to do everything. Also, you should read the blue CME chart that is on the wall in the waiting room, the exam room, and the treatment room. This is very helpful, as it tells you what lab tests you need, what X-Rays you need to do, what the diagnosis is, and the exact treatment plan in order. I hope you buy this great game and love it!
OK i guess... NOT January 31, 2002 4 out of 18 found this review helpful
if you have know idea about medicine dont buy this game. Even if you know some dont buy it only buy this if you are a doctor or studying to be a doctor. One of the bad things is that even if u figure out how to use the instruments the game ends in 20 minutes i returned it right after and got a new game DONT BUY THIS GAME
Excellent! January 2, 2002 23 out of 24 found this review helpful
I bought this game as a Christmas present for my 17 year old sister who wants to be a doctor. The purpose of the game is to rise in the ranks from a first year resident to chief of staff. You have to solve a variety of cases in order to be promoted. The game was incrediably difficult to play until we realized that if you click on the nurses, they will tell you how do everything. After completing the case, you have to fill out a clipboard discharging and diagnosing the patient. The cases are timed, so the faster you treat the patient, the more points you gain towards promotion. The graphics are great and the cases are realistic and varied. The only negative aspect of the game is that it is almost impossible to complete your patient's clipboard perfectly and still get time points. Filling out the clipboard is the most difficult part of the whole game! Still, my sister and I had a lot fun and I highly recommend this game.
