Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Kick & Punch Combos: 4 combinations featuring a punching combo combined with a kicking combo. Kickbox/Bootcamp Challenge: 10 high impact conditioning drills (some more intense than others). You'll recognize most of the moves in this segment since the purpose is to quickly "see it and do it". This segment provides the bonus burn for those who are wanting a hardcore, calorie burning, challenge. Good news for those who are not interested in this segment....simply skip to leg conditioning drills and you still get a close to an hour kickbox workout. Leg Conditioning Drills: ) Designed to shape your legs while enhancing your kicking skills and flexibility. The more skilled and flexible you become, the more efficient your future workouts will be. You'll do conditioning drills for the round/side kicks and hip flexor & front kicks. You'll also do slow motion side, round, front snap, and front thrust kicks to really get a feel for them. A chair is required for this segment. All this hard work is followed by a well-deserved 6-minute stretch.

5 out of 5 stars Weight control coming your way!   October 25, 2008

For those that said this was to easy remember what Cathe says, "You get out of it what you put into it!" I sweat buckets with this and totally get my heart rate over the top. Whenever I know I need to shape up fast I turn to this and Drill Max. If you watch you caloric consumption and add this DVD you'll be amazed by the fast results! It gives a great cardio as well as total body muscle toning in a little over an hour. If you don't have that long, there are the premixes to consider.

3 out of 5 stars Disappointed in this workout!   October 10, 2008

I couldn't wait to receive this DVD in the mail. I was looking forward to doing something different that would really challenge me. Unfortunately it fell short. I would recommend this to a beginner. For someone who is looking for a real challenge, look somewhere else. I will be sending this one back.

4 out of 5 stars Good intermediate workout   March 26, 2008

This is a decent intermediate workout. I had expected something more advanced and challenging after reading some of the other reviews so I was a little disappointed, but not through any fault of Cathe. The kickboxing combos are mainly arm based, easy to follow, but could be more intense and get your heart rate up a . I will probably switch to weighted gloves to get a better workout. The cardio blasts definitely get your heart rate up, but are only a small segment of the workout. The standing leg work is great for toning and strengthening. I will add this workout to my regular routine. It is a good all round workout, but if you are looking for more of a straight intense cardio workout I would research other options.

5 out of 5 stars Good Workout   August 26, 2007

This workout was challenging and held my interest all the way through. It incorporated lower body work, which I liked. It is also important to not that from my prior experience, the punching movements help to tone your upper body as well. Good DVD to have as part of your home workout library.

3 out of 5 stars Mediocre workout   August 23, 2007

If you want a fun, intense, interesting workout this isn't for you. The choreography was definitely lacking. After doing it twice I felt like I had done the workout a hundred times. The kickbox sequence hardly got my heartrate up and the 'blast' was too much jumping, which was hard on the joints (and, I'm only 23), boring and repetitive.

However, this is the only workout I've tried of hers, so I gave it an average grade of three stars in hopes that her other workouts might be better.

(And, the price! Ouch!)

If you want a good workout try Karen Voight's (not the yoga or pilates, boring!). I just did Burn & Firm the other day. It's a great, fun, whole body workout.
