Product Description This amazing compact flashlight is like a spotlight you can carry in your pocket or purse! NINE light-emitting-diode (LED) bulbs produce a flood of pure, white brilliance but because LED bulbs produce very little heat, three inexpensive AAA batteries will last for over 20 hours continuous. Positive-action switch (click on/click off) won't go on accidently in car, toolbox or pocket. Heavy-weight anodized aluminum barrel is corrosion- and water-resistant, textured for sure grip even when wet. 3-year warranty.

good but December 28, 2008 Y. Cho (Columbus, OH) it needs improvement. I'm very satisfied with the brightness of the light for this size and price. It's very portable that it does not bother me even in the pocket. Mine does not show any mechanical or electrical problems but the light flickers very often. When I focus on something and the light flickers, it's very difficult to do fine jobs. But I've noticed that this flickering is a typical problem for most of LED.
rolled the dice and ended up winning with this flashlight December 27, 2008 Living in Budapest (Budapest, Hungary (originally Ann Arbor, MI)) Having seen the balanced numbers of very positive and very negative reviews I took a chance on this LED flashlight. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones as my flashlight has worked well for over a week. I also bought one as a gift. Fortunately the gift also has worked well. This flashlight lives up to its name 'Super-Bright'. I would highly recommend this flashlight only if you're willing to risk getting some defective ones and dealing with potential returns. If you're one of the lucky ones and receive a working flashlight you'll be quite happy.
Brilliant but Brief December 24, 2008 C. Chinnis Jr. (PALO ALTO, CA United States) This little show pony broke after exactly 3 on-off cycles. The rubber switch at the end malfunctioned. I am happy that this problem became apparent right away. It would be a real bummer to actually need some emergency light and learn about the defect then. I returned the light to Amazon the same day I received it - at Amazon expense for a full refund. (Thanks, Amazon!) I hope to order something a more reliable next time.
Junk December 20, 2008 ChelleBelle (Misery, USA) I bought 5 of these as employee incentive gifts....my husband kept one, opened it, put it together then pushed the "on" button and the entire thing literally fell apart in his hand. Within a couple of weeks I had asked about the other 4 and the employees all reported that they were broken in one way or another. These are pieces of junk.
Great little LED light ! December 12, 2008 Amazon Jack The first thing I did when I got this light was click it on and off (several hundred times) to see if I could make the switch malfunction. I figured that would be the most vulnerable part to wear out first. It didn't break, and I was just about to give the light a thumbs-up review, when it inexplicably started to flicker and then stop working at all. Before I returned it to Amazon for a refund, I decided to take it apart, examine it, and use my digital multimeter to see what the problem was. The test results were fine (no shorts, no opens) this light SHOULD work. I found the problem, the end cap and flashlight body were not making good contact. The black annodized coating on the end of the battery tube was the culprit. I sanded it with nail file, till it was shiny and screwed it back together and it now works 100%. I'm sure that's what is happening to most of the customers who have had bad things to say about this little light. It's a quick easy fix, and I'm keeping mine.
