Product Description Genuine U.S. Military Issued Polypropylene Thermal clothing is great for men and women. If you enjoy camping, hunting, skiing, or any other cold weather outdoor enjoyment, polypropylene thermals are a must. No other product will keep your outing warmer and more enjoyable. Why are they so great you ask? Simple, polypropylene does not absorb moisture; its unique vapor transfer moves moisture away from the skin keeping you dry. In fact, Genuine U.S. Military Issued Thermals have the lowest thermal conductivity of any traditional apparel fiber. Polypropylene is also color fast, so it will resist fading and continues to look good, even in chlorinated climates. One size fits all.

Cheap and it Works December 30, 2008 Mal (Illinois, USA) I was using a balaclava and my neck still was cold. No more cold when using the neck warmer. I pull it on and keep it over my mouth and nose and then fasten my helmet strap to keep it in place. I cant believe an item in the these high tech times can be so effective yet so simple and cheap.
I gave my wife and a couple of bike buddies these for Christmas.
Great bit of kit on those below freezing morning rides to work.
motorcycle gear November 23, 2008 Alex J. Avriette (Arlington, Virginia USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I use this garment on the motorcycle. I ride a supersport, so my head is tucked down but the air gets tunneled up behind my ears and under my chin. It also runs down my back. So, in the morning, I put the neckwarmer on first, then a compression shirt (e.g., underarmour or the 5.11 tactical "muscle mapping" shirt, or anything you can get from the MCX), then the shirt I'm wearing to work, then the motorcycle jacket, and keep the "warmer" up to my eyes as I pull my helmet on.
The helmet pushes it down right to below my nose and keeps my ears and neck covered. It's amazingly effective. I've had it out in 25F weather at 75mph without issue. The only thing I might say is that it would be nice to have a "fleeced" version for when it gets colder.
But, this is the real deal for those of you trying to break the effects of wind and keep warm. I wouldn't think of getting on the bike without it if it's below 55F.
Neck scarf January 3, 2008 Nicki L. Fredericks My neck scarf is perfect to wear on those cold wintry days. I love it.
Keeps your neck warm! November 25, 2007 Jonathan Kelly (Minneapolis, MN) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Excellent product for the cold MN weather. It was a little looser then I had expected judging by the picture, and I don't have a small neck (6'3 210 lbs). I assume they manufacture them large because the material doesn't flex. The polypropylene smells a little funny out of the bag, hopefully cleaning will take care of that. The neck warmer is the way to go, it is nice to be able to cover up your face outside and then pull it down when you get inside. I hate pulling off full ski masks.
Warm and Wind-Proof Neck Warmer November 3, 2007 Cat (Northeast USA) Excellent for cold-weather motorcycling or any out-door use, including commuting in cold weather. Put it on before any jacket and it seals your jacket upward from the cold and wind. In addition, I tuck it under and within my (full-face)helmet and then fasten the helmet strap on--thereby holding the neck warmer in place within the helmet. Net result: I feel like I'm riding indoors, completely insulated from the wind/cold.
