nice game with a fresh look and gameplay January 8, 2009 Macready (Southern California, USA) i bought this as a gift for someone and played it briefly. from what i have seen and played the game is great. the game has nice graphics and cut sceens. the problem solving parts of the game gets progressivly harder as you move through out the game. the game has a nice look with good gameplay. it is a nice change from some of the same old game platforms out there. plus, with the drop in price you get a really good game now at a great price.
Fun and Games January 6, 2009 Reading Demon I bought this for my 14 year old niece who has played with it solidly since Christmas Day barely lifting her head since!
rather good January 2, 2009 elustran 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is a fun game for all ages. Essentially, the game is a series of logic puzzles framed by a Holmes-esque detective plot. Some of the puzzles are a little easy, but there are plenty of challenging ones. Some younger players might find some of the puzzles difficult, but there is a system of hints that should keep things from getting frustrating. The story is decent, and the major plot mysteries are fun to figure out.
Very fun. Keeps you interested. January 2, 2009 razz murray (Western , Wisconsin United States) This game is fun and keeps you interested. Challenging. At least 10 years and up to play this, really I would say older than that. Lots of reading.
Puzzles are hard! December 30, 2008 Busy Mom 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
First, let me say that I'm no dunce. I have a Master's degree plus 30 hours, but a lot of these puzzles are too hard for me. Maybe my brain just doesn't think that way, but it's not the type of game to play for relaxation. I prefer MillionHeir or Word Jong personally.
