got this as a new toy replacing my old one which was only 1 gig, and was about 2 years old. love it. batery power on 1 charge is about 8-10 hours. might be longer i fell asleep when i was testing it.
upload time is slow. i ended up going through and creating a special folder for the upload, and just setting it up to upload. took a while.
the graphics are great, really colorful, and you can view pictures, but they are tiny. itty bitty i would say.
um... it only charges via usb to the computer, which is cool, but not at the same time as i would love to be able to charge it from the wall while i'm at work.
the little on off switch at the bottom fell off. not really a big deal actually. you will rarely use it.
the software required for mp4 conversion will only work on win 98. hrm... when was the last time someone used win 98?
the company creates their own little sheet as a users guide which is really helpful! i loved that.
oh the headphones... i don't know what they are talking about them being a $65 value... that was a load. they didn't work. i used the ones from my old one. the little sleve isn't really worth much either. i would say these things are about a $10 value. i'm a realist tho.
love the player tho, it's nice. and as for the video, i wasn't sure i would ever use it anyway. oh yeah... i almost forgot! i ordered it at noon on monday, and it was in my hot little hands on wed... nice shipping... that was STANDARD shipping!
